Instructions. Firstly, in a wok add oil and heat it. Into it add cumin seeds and let it splutter. Add garlic cloves and saute for few minutes. Into it add green chillies and saute for few minutes. Add tamarind pieces, chopped coriander leaves, stir and cook for few minutes. Cool down the whole mixture. Add the mixture into a blender, add salt.

The Tempering. In a heavy-bottomed ladle, heat 1/2 tsp oil. Add mustard seeds and wait till they splutter. Add red chillies and curry leaves to the oil. Stir-fry for a few seconds. Add the tempering to the pachadi. Mix well. Serve Sorakaya Pachadi | Anapakaya Pachadi as a side dish with rice and ghee or then as an accompaniment to dosa.
